Welcome to Haesung Lee's website!
I am a mathematician and assistant professor at Kumoh National Institute of Technology.
My research area is analysis and stochastic analysis. I mainly study global well-posedness for weak solutions to stochastic differential equations (SDEs) with rough coefficients including degenerate diffusion coefficients and locally unbounded drifts.
In particular, I am interested in invariant measures and ergodic properties for weak solutions to SDEs with rough coefficients. I am additionally interested in the existence, uniqueness and stability of solutions to Kolmogorov’s equations and Fokker-Planck equations associated with SDEs.
The main tools for conducting my research are stochastic calculus, (possibly non-symmetric and generalized) Dirichlet form theory, and elliptic and parabolic regularity theory of partial differential equations.
