Hello, I am Haesong Seo.

On September 1, 2026, I will join the Research Institute of Basic Sciences in Seoul National University as a technical research personnel, working under the supervision of Prof. Dano Kim.

Previously, I was a Ph. D. student at the Department of Mathematical Sciences in KAIST, where I was supervised by Prof. Yongnam Lee.

I also worked as a student research assistant at the Center for Complex Geometry in IBS.

I am interested in Complex Geometry, specifically:

• syzygies of secant varieties;

• Kobayashi hyperbolicity and algebraic hyperbolicity;

• Nevanlinna theory.
