To function properly, the HadeesHindi app may request access to certain permissions on your device:
🔹 3. Location (Approximate)
The app does not automatically access or collect your location.
Users manually select their city and state to view prayer times relevant to their region.
We use the Aladhan API to fetch prayer timings based on the selected location.
Notifications: This permission is currently used only to send Namaz (prayer time) alerts, triggered by the user manually enabling the notification toggle. Other features like Hadith reminders or additional alerts may be introduced in future updates. Notifications are delivered using Firebase Cloud Messaging and Notifee.
Storage Access: This permission enables the app to save Hadith images and share content from the app to other platforms.
Background Execution:
✅ By default, background services and Namaz notifications are OFF.
🟢 Only when the user manually enables the notification toggle, the app may trigger short (5-second) Namaz alerts at prayer times — even when the app is closed.
❌ No background sounds, alarms, or services are started automatically. All such features are user-controlled.
Internet Access: Required to fetch Islamic content, prayer times, and to sync data between your device and our servers.
🔒 You can choose to deny any of these permissions, but certain features of the app may not work as intended without them.
HadeesHindi relies on the following third-party services to function efficiently:
Firebase (by Google LLC): Used for cloud storage, push notifications, and analytics.
Notifee (by Invertase): Currently used to handle local notifications for prayer time (Namaz) alerts only. Support for Hadith or other types of notifications may be added in future updates.
Aladhan API (by Aladhan.com): Provides accurate prayer times based on your approximate location.
