Hackintosh Snow Leopard Download

Hey, I'm asking if someone here knows were I can find Mac OS X Snow Leopard .dmg, .iso or DVD for cheap. I can't spend much and on the web I didn't find anything useful. Also, if you know some easy to follow guides to create a hackintosh installer with Snow Leopard (not OpenCore, I can't understand " 'na mazza" and because most probably it doesn't support SL). I need it for an Acer Aspire 3630 (or 3633WLMi, idk what's the name). It seems to have a Celeron M clocked at 1.6 GHz with one core, 512 MB of RAM (only one stick, the other was a "troiaio") and that's it. I don't know anything about this laptop because I took it from the nearest scrapyard and because of the rotten RAM stick I was unable to install an OS onto it. I'm writing this while attempting to install Windows 2000 on it. The discussion of whether or not hackintosh is piracy is for another day. While technically, it is, most people can get it easily for free from anyone who owns a mac, so. Meh. Regardless. Going to clean up the argument so OP can get back to his discussion. No hard feelings, m'kay?

I chose the first method listed above, using the Chameleon bootloader with a hidden EFI partition. This hidden partition is automatically created whenever you format a Disk using Mac OS, below is a screengrab from Disk Utility running on my hackintosh.

The partition of interest is disk2s1 on the 500.11Gb drive. This is where the bootloader creates an Extra folder, the destination for the modified kexts as well as several other files I will cover later. You could have an Extra folder on you Snow Leopard partition (snow in the image above) but I like the idea of a hidden partition that is not normally accessible.

HI i recently installed snow leopard 10.6.6i by hazard on my amd computer it booted so well but i have two problems 1 -drives from pc cant be read NTF format i down loaded macfuse installed it ,but still cant be seen .2 some softwares cant be installed like ikmulmedia products any can be installed but cant be opened.What should i do? please help

A quick Google search of the defective Device ID shows several threads with people encountering the same problem on both hackintosh and linux forums with this card. It seems to be an issue with the BIOS not properly initializing it. Also, from what I've read, I don't think it's possible to flash them with the correct EEPROM either, as the tools to do this don't appear to support the AR93xx chipset.

Great guide and helped clear up a lot of information for my hackintosh noob skills. Unfortunately I had to install Snow Leopard and then restart the virtual box because it froze up when plugging in the 2nd usb drive.

i have a p4 3.2 ghz, with 1.5gb ram, 512 mb ati hd4350 and a super driver. I tried several time installing Mac OSX tiger and leopard with mac osx extended journaled partition but my computer won't boot after installation. Kindly guide me that what is missing.

Once you have a working machine, the next step is to take a backup of your OSX installation, so that when you break it later, you can quickly get back to a working setup. As with most hackintosh PCs, you should resist the urge to upgrade your hackintosh to the newest OSX system updates from Apple (apps are ok, its the OSX system that is the problem). If you DO want to update, you will need to google about how to do that, as it is not a simple process if you want to keep all your hardware devices still working. 2351a5e196
