Hacker Rank ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is a mobile application designed for practicing coding problems, learning programming concepts, taking quizzes, and running code.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App. We are committed to transparency and minimal data collection.

The App does not require account registration. You may use it anonymously.

3. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

When you tap “Run Code”, the App sends the following to the Judge0 execution service via RapidAPI:

This is required to execute your code and return results.

The code execution service is powered by Judge0.

We do not:

• Log your submissions
  
  

• Maintain execution history on our servers
  
  

Processing is governed by Judge0 and RapidAPI’s own privacy policies.

5. Data Stored Only on Your Device

The App stores only the following locally using Android DataStore:

6. Third-Party Services

The App may use:

• Google AdMob — Advertising

We do not control these services. Their data handling practices are governed by their own policies.

7. Data Security

We do not operate servers that store personal data.

Data sent for code execution is transmitted over the internet to Judge0/RapidAPI and is not retained by us.

Local data is stored using standard Android secure storage mechanisms.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Because we do not collect personal data or require registration, users of all ages may use the App.

AdMob may apply its own advertising policies regarding child-directed content.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

The “Last updated” date will reflect the most recent revision.

Continued use of the App after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
