\\\Description\\\
Gerard Branán was born and raised by a loving family in Ireland. Raised up from a young age to have strong moral values. Between doing what he felt was right and never taking anything laying down. Some called him a brute, others called him a saviour. Whatever it was, he always offered his help when he could.
Gerard took an interest in his families business of potato farming. It had been in his family for over 5 generations. He went to study at the University College of Dublin, going into higher education relating to agriculture and farming. During his time there he met a younger girl named Anne. Despite a bit of animosity between them at first they got along well and were soon hanging out quite frequently.
From a young age Gerard has a strong sense of patriotism. When trouble began brewing all across the northern parts of Ireland, Gerard was ready to answer. After the events of "Bloody Sunday", Gerard enlisted without a second though despite the protests of Anne. They had been dating for a year now but his duty was to his country. She agreed to come with him as they moved up to the northern side of Ireland. While Gerard disagreed with the majority of the IRA's tactics he focused on his own methods. Forcing oppression back all across Ireland.
In Belfast after the city had been divided it was found that Anne was pregnant. And during August of 1989, Bridget was born. He raised her as best as he could despite his rugged war torn past. He was the one that sparked Bridget's interest in protecting others. Helping them when she can. As well as helping her train Ridire and teaching her to fight for herself..
