1. Information We Do Not Collect Habitual is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, transmit, or process any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as your name, phone number, email address, physical address, location, or unique device identifiers.

Local Storage and Data Processing All application data, including your tracked habits, completion history, streaks, and user preferences (such as theme and display settings), is stored strictly and securely on your local device using Android DataStore/Room. No user data is ever uploaded, backed up, or synchronized to any remote server, cloud database, or third-party infrastructure.

3. Third-Party Data Sharing Because we do not collect any data, we do not share, sell, rent, trade, or transfer any information with third parties, analytics providers, advertisers, or data brokers.

4. User Accounts Habitual operates entirely offline and locally. You can download, install, and use all features of the application completely without registering an account, signing in, or providing any credentials.

5. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking Habitual contains zero tracking mechanisms. We do not integrate third-party analytics SDKs, crash-reporting tools that collect personal telemetry, advertising networks, or the Google Advertising ID (AAID).

6. Device Permissions Habitual requests minimal to no dangerous system permissions to function:

• Internet Access: Habitual does not request or require the INTERNET permission and functions 100% offline.

• Sensitive Permissions: The app does not request access to your location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, or phone state.

7. Notifications Habitual does not utilize background services, alarms, or push notification frameworks. All interactions, metrics, and progress logs remain strictly inside the local user interface.

8. Children’s Privacy Habitual is safe for users of all ages. It is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families Policies because it does not collect, request, or knowingly target personal information from children or any other users.
