This Privacy Policy describes how HabitSeed ("we", "our", or "the App") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our mobile application.
We collect several types of information to provide and improve our service to you:
Account Information: When you sign up via Google or Email, we collect your email address and display name.
Habit & Task Data: We store the habits, tasks, and completion streaks you create to sync them across your devices.
Community Data: If you join the Leaderboard, your username and streak data will be visible to other users.
The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:
Google Play Services / Firebase: For authentication, database hosting, and cloud sync.
Google Analytics for Firebase: To understand app performance and usage patterns.
In case of an error in the App, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
HabitSeed is designed to be a tool for users of all ages to improve their lives. We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of children.
Users under 13: If you are under the age of 13 (or the legal age in your country), we encourage you to use the App with the guidance and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
Data Protection: We do not intentionally collect personal information from children without aiming to comply with applicable local laws (such as COPPA or GDPR).
Parental Control: Parents or guardians who believe that their child has provided personal information to us can contact us at mrmohamedtriki@gmail.com to request the deletion of such data.
We believe you should have full control over your data. If you wish to delete your HabitSeed account and all associated data, please follow the steps below:
Email Request: Send an email from your registered account to Mrmohamedtriki@gmail.com
Subject Line: Please use the subject "Account Deletion Request - HabitSeed".
Process: Once received, our team will verify your request and manually delete your account, habits, tasks, and leaderboard scores from our Firebase servers within 7 business days.
Upon completion of your request, the following will be permanently removed:
Your email address and profile information.
Your entire habit history and task logs.
Your streak record and username from the global leaderboard.
Data Reset (Account remains): If you wish to only clear your progress (habits and tasks) while keeping your account active, you can do this directly within the App's Settings > Reset All Data.
