Habit Tracker (the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.

Information Stored on Your Device

The App lets you create and track habits, goals, reminders, check-ins, profile preferences, and app settings. This information is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. We do not operate an account system or cloud backup service for your habit data in the current version of the App.

If you uninstall the App or clear its storage, locally stored habit data may be deleted. You are responsible for exporting or backing up any information you wish to keep.

Notifications and Device Permissions

With your permission, the App may send local notifications for habit reminders.

On Android, the App may also use alarm, vibration, and device-restart permissions so scheduled reminders can work reliably. These permissions are used only to provide reminder functionality and can be managed in your device settings.

Information Processed by Service Providers

The App uses the following third-party services:

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
We display advertisements to help support the App. Google and its advertising partners may process device and online identifiers, IP address, app interactions, and similar technical information to deliver, measure, secure, and personalize ads, where allowed by law and your settings. You may be able to control personalized advertising through your device settings or Google’s My Ad Center.

Firebase Remote Config
We use Firebase Remote Config to safely deliver app configuration and feature settings. Firebase may process a Firebase installation ID and technical service data, such as app identifiers and IP address, to provide this service.

We do not sell your habit entries, goals, or reminder data.

How Information Is Used

We use locally stored information to provide the App’s features, including:

Sharing and International Transfers

We do not share your locally stored habit data with third parties.

Information processed by Google, Firebase, or advertising partners may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States and other locations where those providers operate. Such processing is subject to the safeguards and policies of the relevant provider.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights, safety, and security, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Data Retention

Habit data and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App.

Retention of data processed by Google services is governed by Google’s applicable policies and service terms.

Your Choices and Rights

You can control notification permissions in your device settings and manage ad personalization through Google and device-level privacy controls.

You can delete locally stored habit data using the App’s available deletion or reset controls, or by uninstalling the App.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information we control.

To make a request or ask a privacy question, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your request and may not be able to fulfill requests relating to data controlled independently by third-party providers.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can address the issue.

Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

We will post the updated version in the App or at the location where this policy is published and revise the “Last updated” date.
