The Cape St Francis Resort situated in the coastal town of Cape St Francis, Eastern Cape, South Africa, provides not only a spectacular venue for a conference, but also provides attendees with an excellent opportunity to engage with a remarkable local herpetofauna.

Please note that “guests sharing” denotes that the house will be full people sharing double beds. All rates are self-catering therefore no meals are included in the quoted price. Breakfast can be added to any accommodation option at a cost of R140pp.

The resort is 115km away from Port Elizabeth and its National Airport. Follow signage to the N2. From the N2 take the Humansdorp turn off (80 km west of Port Elizabeth and 112 kms from Storms River Bridge). When you enter Humansdorp continue straight along the main street until you get to the bottom at a T-junction. Turn left on the R330 towards St Francis Bay. Continue on this road for 19 km into Cape St Francis. Drive until you reach a three way stop. Turn left into Da Gama Way and drive for 1.2 kms where you will find us on the right hand side of the road.

Driving from Cape Town:

From Cape Town take the N2 toward Port Elizabeth, pass Knysna, Plettenberg Bay and continue past Storms River Bridge. Approximately 100 kms after the bridge take the Humansdorp off ramp and proceed as detailed above.

Driving from Johannesburg:

From Johannesburg take the N1, pass Bloemfontein (don't drop in to see Mike). Take the Port Elizabeth off ramp and merge on the N9. Get on the N2 in Uitenhage Farms, PE from R75. Follow N2 to R330 in Humansdorp (exit 665). Continue on R330 towards St. Francis Bay and proceed as detailed above.
