The AIIS (Artificial Intelligence for Industrial Systems) Lab employs a multidisciplinary approach to devise engineering solutions, focusing on AI technologies for the betterment of industrial systems. Our vision involves the creation of advanced systems characterized by connectivity, real-time intelligence, flexibility, sustainability, and autonomy. These systems are designed to boost productivity across product, process, and production engineering, bridging the gap between the physical and virtual worlds. This bridging is facilitated by a closed-loop system that includes monitoring, learning, management, and feedback processes. Our mission is to expand the frontiers of knowledge in applying artificial intelligence to industrial systems, moving beyond traditional manufacturing paradigms.
