H. P. Lovecraft

Hi everyone am new here. I have a very surface level knowledge of lovecraftian thigs. I recently got the 2018 call of cthulhu game and im enjoyig it sofar however im not sure how faithfull it isto the mythos. Is it a good place to start. If not, where is a good place to start.
