My research interests lie in pose estimation of fast-moving hands for interaction with virtual objects in AR/VR environments.
Previously, I have explored this problem through the following approaches:
A hybrid method combining classification and model-based tracking
Sensor fusion using a depth camera and a gyroscope
Domain transfer learning from depth to infrared (IR) data
These works were presented at ISMAR and IEEE VR conferences.
Currently, I am interested in the following topics:
3D hand mesh recovery from a single RGB image under motion blur
Human mesh reconstruction from a single RGB image
3D face mesh recovery from a single RGB image
Bare-hand Depth Inpainting for 3D Tracking of Hand Interacting with Object
