ABOUT
Doel Chakraborty is currently a research Scholar in the department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. She is also a half-time teaching and research associate to her supervisor and the department. She is pursuing her PhD in History of Science, Technology and Medicine, focusing specifically on the social history of modern medicine in the context of gender and public health in 19th and early 20th century Colonial India.
