Bio

Shivam is a Computer Science PhD student in the Lane Department of Computer Science. Born and raised in India, Shivam completed his undergraduate studies at Savitribai Phule Pune University. His research is centered on generative AI models for image and video generation, primarily his work involves leveraging current state of the art diffusion models, using representation learning for diffusion models, and working on novel segmentation techniques. Outside the realm of academia, Shivam enjoys diving into World History, discussing politics, and expressing his thoughts through writing. He also finds balance in outdoor activities like hiking and biking, while his love for cooking and exploring new places fuels his curiosity and creativity.
