Bio

Mahtab is a master's student in computer science with a background in textiles engineering. She joined Dr. Gyawali's lab to research on the Mayan Project, using segmentation techniques to analyze Maya glyphs. Prior to this, Mahtab completed a summer internship in the healthcare sector, where she honed her skills in Python and SQL.

When she’s not in the lab or studying, Mahtab enjoys hiking and exploring the beautiful landscapes around Morgantown.
