Jacob is pursuing his Ph.D. in computer science and is a Gary & Lisa Christopher Fellow as well as a Bridges in Digital Health NSF Trainee. His main research focus involves studying representation learning and survival analysis to help predict the progression of Alzheimer's Dementia, allowing clinicians to make early and informed decisions about patient care. Prior to this, he completed his B.S. in Computer Science and B.S. in Mathematics at West Virginia University in 2022.
Outside of research, Jacob enjoys making specialty coffee, playing Yugioh, and staying active via a rotation of running, weight lifting, boxing, and lacrosse.
