Why used?
For some it's the curiousity as to what the sport is all about, but you don't want to fork out heaps of money for something that might just be a passing interest (though we all know you'll get hooked).
For others it's the ability to try different discs that you might not be willing to pay full price for.
And still other have quite a few discs that just sit on your self. Why not sell them on and pick something else up while you are at it.

10 - Brand new, no ink
9 - Thrown a few times, still looks brand new but may have a small scuff
8 - Lightly used, minimal wear
7 - Some minor dings or scuffs but still in good shape
6 - Typical used disc, some dings, scratches or scuffs, but still lots of life left
5 - Beat in pretty good, lost some stability
4 - Lost a lot of stability, good turn over disc with stories to tell
less than 3 - What swamp was this pulled from? Throw it back...
*I'm not out to make a huge profit, rather this is to provide a service. Though I don't want to lose money on this either*
