Welcome to the website of the GWES Tropical Cyclone Division. On this website, status updates are issued on all tropical cyclones in the Pacific basins and the North Atlantic; advisories are issued if it threatens a land area concerning group members, and if a tropical cyclone directly threatens a GWES member, the TCD advisory will also be posted on the Discord server.

GWES-TCD produces forecasts for up to four active simultaneous tropical cyclones in the world. Priorities are set for Atlantic hurricanes or any system that is threatening a group member.

GWES-TCD also writes reports for any tropical cyclone that has impacted land areas that concern GWES group members.

Active Systems

This section has been changed to include only systems in the North Atlantic, East Pacific, and Australian basins. Indian Ocean and West Pacific cyclones are no longer being listed.
