To promptly and accurately identify an emerging/re-emerging viral disease agent in an outbreak, and to facilitate viral infection research works by means of bioinformatics, medical informatics, computational biology, computational systems biology, statistical/mathematical modeling, data mining, etc.
To establish an IT-based research infrastructure for the center and promote it by means of trainings and promoting online databases/tools usage.
To support collaborators for their computational need.
