Welcome to my page!
Guylaine Nouwoue is a Doctoral Researcher, a Teaching Associate in Economics at the University of Exeter, a European Investment Bank Research Fellow and a World Bank Research Fellow.
My current research lies at the intersection between Public Finance, Behavioural Economics, Governance and Development. In particular, I am interested in understanding Tax Compliance and Bribing decisions under Weak Capacity, and the Role Information and Social Networks play at shaping Economic Preferences.
Previous work includes the causal impact of safety nets among Urban Youth with the World Bank, the causal effects of repeated borrowing among rural entrepreneurs in Cote d'Ivoire with the European Investment Bank, and policy evaluations across Francophone Africa. Please, visit my LinkedIn page or my resume in the CV section to learn more about my 13+ years of experience in policy-oriented research, policy evaluations and advisory positions before the PhD journey.
