I am a proud Brazilian and a passionate mathematician. I am married to Pammella Queiroz-Souza, ph.D., with whom I share the joy of raising two wonderful daughters, Marine and Melina Araújo.
Currently, I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the State University of Paraíba (UEPB), Brazil, and a permanent faculty member of the Postgraduate Program in Mathematics at both UEPB and the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). Since 2026, I have been the Deputy Area Coordinator for the Evaluation Area of Science and Humanities for Basic Education at CAPES. Between 2016 and 2023, I served as Vice-Coordinator and later as Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Mathematics at UEPB. More recently, from 2023 to 2025, I held the position of National Coordinator of Profmat, a nationwide postgraduate program in mathematics organized by the Brazilian Mathematical Society (SBM).
My research focuses on several areas of mathematics, including Functional Analysis, Real and Complex Analysis, Banach Space Theory, Geometry of Banach Spaces, Operator Theory, Polynomials and Multilinear Mappings in Banach Spaces, Series and Summability, Mathematical Inequalities, and Lineability and Spaceability.
