Upon a calm and peaceful night
I dreamed a dream that felt unright
I dreamed that when the night was done
Would rise gray stars and blackened sun
I shot awake, coated in sweat
It had been just a dream, and yet
I felt the strangest urge to run
To hide away from blackened sun
I looked outside in disarray
And all the stars had turned to gray
I knew for certain soon would come
The hateful light of blackened sun
It still was dark, I still had time
No dreaded light would hit my eyes
I plucked a needle from my bun
And saved myself from blackened sun
