Randhawa started his music journey in December 2012 with a song named "Same Girl"[11] with Arjun who was the first person to take Randhawa in his own video. However, the song was not so successful for both artists.

At the beginning of 2013, Randhawa released his first single named "Chhad Gayi" on YouTube with the label of Speed Records. His elder brother, Ramneek helped him financially to release this song. Later in 2013, he launched his first album Page One and released three songs from the album. "Dardan Nu", "I Like You" and "Southall" were the respective songs. Randhawa launched many songs but none of them became much popular to take Guru to heights. 2014 was also not special for him. He released the remaining songs from the Page One album but did not get success. The songs were "Khali Bottlan", "My Jugni", "Maa", "Na Na Na Na Na", "Pyaar Wale Test", "Modern Thumka", and "Billo On Fire".[citation needed]

Music is integral to Indian culture. Our lands echo tunes in every nook; our movies come packed with actors dancing to every beat; and every road trip comes paired with a dedicated travel playlist. Understanding this pulse and vibe to the T is singer-songwriter Guru Randhawa.

I was introduced to music when I was a kid. There were a few regional channels along with DD National in my village, Gurdaspur. I used to listen to and hum old folk and pop music that were on television. I stayed close to the India-Pakistan border and was an avid listener of Punjabi and Pakistani artists. Over time, I started writing songs too. In my 20s, I released my own songs and eventually worked and collaborated with amazing musicians. It has been a great learning experience! With blockbuster songs like Baby Girl and Naach Meri Rani that went on to garner record breaking viewership last year, Guru Randhawa starts 2021 with the single Mehendi Wale Haath. Presented by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, the song features the gorgeous and talented Sanjana Sanghi who will make her music video debut as Guru's love interest. With Mehendi Wale Haath, the audiences will witness an emotional and soulful side of Guru Randhawa, as he steps into the role of a brave soldier. The song will also highlight the electrifying chemistry between Sanjana Sanghi and Guru, who share screen space for the very first time.

2020 is full of unexpected twists and turns, it's like an end of the world movie, but it's actually real. This year also brought a crossover that we weren't really expecting but is still welcomed by everyone. Pitbull just released a new song and it features none other than Guru Randhawa. Mueve La Cintura, which features Tito El Bambino along with Pitbull and Guru, dropped a few hours ago and honestly, a verse in Punjabi in a Pitbull song is the last thing I would've thought we would get.

This is not the first time both of them have worked together and have reunited after a year. Last year, Pitbull featured on Guru Randhawa's song Slowly Slowly and looks like they both know that they make fire songs together. e24fc04721
