群馬の森

2004年に群馬の森に建立された朝鮮人追悼碑は、2024年1月に行政代執行により撤去されました。このプロジェクトは、AR（Augmented Reality = 拡張現実）技術によって、再びこの場所にヴァーチャルな追悼碑を建立します。碑があった場所にデバイスをかざすと、そこに原寸のヴァーチャルな追悼碑が現れます。たとえ碑が撤去されても、過去の事実と記憶、そしてこの「場所」を消すことはできません。人々の想いによって「碑」はここに存在し続けます。

2004년에 군마의 숲에 건립된 조선인 추모비는 2024년 1월에 행정 대집행으로 철거되었습니다. 이 프로젝트는 AR(Augmented Reality = 확장현실) 기술을 통해 이 장소에 가상 추모비를 다시 세우는 것입니다. 추모비가 있던 장소에 기기를 대면, 그 자리에 실제 크기의 가상 추모비가 나타납니다. 추모비가 철거되더라도 과거의 사실과 기억, 그리고 이 '장소'를 지울 수는 없습니다. 사람들의 마음으로 '추모비'는 이곳에 계속 존재할 것입니다.

The Korean Memorial Monument, erected in Gunma Forest in 2004 to commemorate Koreans who died during the war while being mobilized for labor, was removed in January 2024 through administrative enforcement. This project uses AR (Augmented Reality) technology to re-erect a virtual memorial monument at this location. When you hold a device over the site where the monument once stood, a life-sized virtual memorial monument appears there. Even though the monument has been removed, the facts and memories of the past, as well as this “place,” cannot be erased. Through the thoughts and feelings of people, the “monument” continues to exist here.
