Research Interest

Her current area of research involves miRNA based therapeutic approach to target lung cancer metabolism and tumorigenesis. She is utilizing the fact that altered metabolism is one of the hallmarks of lung cancer and miRNAs could be a useful target treatment because of their beneficial characteristics, including multiple effector targets, short sequences, and a low likelihood of miRNA mutations.
