After @Kymeia took the effort to create the Guitar Rig User Library, we agreed to provide the presets which are currently still available on the old forum ( -instruments.com/de/community/user-libraries/guitar-rig/) in the new library as there is a chance the old forum will be decommissioned in the future. All files were downloaded and all the information available on the forum was retrieved.

The first-ever public musical instrument lending library in New York City is at Brooklyn Public Library, and is open to all adult patrons. Want to learn to play the guitar? Need a piano for your next composition? You may now borrow select instruments from the library for one month.

To get started, select an instrument that you would like to borrow from the list below, and place a hold through your library card account. When your instrument is ready for pickup, you will receive an email telling you to come to the Art and Music Room at Central Library to borrow your instrument.

We have full-size violins, acoustic guitars, ukuleles, electronic keyboards, drum pad (one pad) and steel pan drums. Each instrument comes with its own set of accessories.

Patrons may check out up to three instruments at a time. A music stand would be counted as one instrument.

What is the best guitar library for kontakt?i checked some of them that native instruments released, which were the strummed series but i didn't really like its concept of paterns and strums,so can y'all suggest me some genuinely good kontakt guitar libraries?

I'm new to Logic Pro X. I have my guitar running through a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 into a MacBook Pro. When in Logic Pro X I can only hear the dry guitar signal when playing guitar. When I click on some of the guitar amps in the library to apply to a track, it doesn't get applied. The sound does not change, it's still the dry guitar signal. I followed a lot of Logic Pro X getting started tutorials and I feel like I'm missing something. Any help?

How about when NOT in Logic Pro X? What I mean is, quit Logic Pro X: can you still hear your dry guitar signal? Then that means you're not using Logic's monitoring, but the Focusrite monitoring. Your first step is to turn that off. You should hear nothing when Logic Pro X is not running. Refer to the Focusrite manual to see how to turn off monitoring.

Now forget about the "I" buttons on your track headers (if they're even displayed, I don't even display mine), and click the R button to record-enable the track. You should hear your guitar processed through Logic's plug-ins.

Guitar College has taught more than 30,000 students worldwide over the last 30 years. We not only have more experience, but we are constantly fine-tuning our approaches to guitar instruction. Our own KOMPLETE START package nets you a couple of tasty free guitar libraries alongside a wealth of other sampled instruments, synths and effects. Jazz Guitar and Rock Guitar are part of the Band collection of 13 KONTAKT libraries (which also includes basses, drums, keys and more), and both share a common scripted interface that enables adjustment of tuning and velocity response, as well as randomization of volume, velocity, pan and pitch. Plenty of sound shaping is on offer via the Tone and Pickup controls, and a variety of effects, including one-knob wah-wah, distortion, overdrive and compression modules, and master reverb, three-band graphic EQ and 11 cabinet simulations; and the Noise knob introduces fret and string noise for heightened realism. A solid option for quick and easily adaptable guitar parts.

Hello, Do libraries exist for typical components of a guitar or audio amplifier, such as specific preamp and power tubes, power and output transformers with secondaries for heaters and rectifier, chokes, 1/4 in input and output jacks? Thank you for your attention.

Evolution Strawberry enables keyboardists to easily and quickly create authentic sounding electric guitar parts without the need to hand edit MIDI. Unlike conventional high-end KONTAKT guitar sample libraries and guitar VSTs, Evolution doesn't require keyboardists to possess a foundational understanding of how to play the guitar in order to achieve authentic results. Instead, it leverages your existing keyboard skills, translating these techniques for the guitar, much like a skilled language interpretor translates one language into another. For example, chord inversions are automatically analyzed and the appropriate guitar chord voicing is instantly determined. Strummed guitar chord options are only limited by your imagination -- whether it's power chords, triads, augmented chords, diminished chords, suspended fourths, 7ths, 9ths, 11ths, "Hendrix chords" -- it's all possible.

Evolution utilizes sophisticated scripting instead of requiring you to memorize dozens of keyswitches and contains extensive articulations, from palm mutes to pinch harmonics, accurately simulating a real life guitar performance. It features the detail and nuances that bring a guitar performance to life. Its proprietary string resonation engine creates a sense of organic realism unparalleled by other guitar sample libraries or VSTs. Even more, Evolution, doesn't require you to compromise your playing or sequencing workflow in order to adapt to its way of working -- instead, it uses a convenient mapping system, so that the sample library mapping can be quickly and easily customized to your personal preference.

Evolution covers rhythm and lead guitar playing -- which includes Orange Tree Samples powerful and advanced, yet easy to use, chord strumming functionality. The strumming system automates the time consuming task of sequencing realistic rhythm guitar parts, including an intelligent chord detection engine, which instantly translates chords on the keyboard into guitar voicings on the fretboard. Popular studio techniques like double tracking (and triple and quadruple tracking) are performed with the turn of a knob. Want to detune or capo the guitar? It's all easily done, and switching to alternate tunings not only affect the range of the instrument, but change the tone of the individual strings. To provide the greatest versatility, Evolution was recorded dry and includes an assortment of virtual stompbox effects, and a vast array of guitar cabinet impulses, all built directly into the sample library. That way users can choose their favorite select amp simulation and effects to attain just the right sound, from pop to rock to funk to hip hop to jazz right out of the box.

Evolution Strawberry licenses Native Instruments' Kontakt Player sampler software. Consequently, owning the full version of Kontakt is not necessary, and Evolution Strawberry operates without limitations within the free Kontakt Player application/plugin. This also allows the sample library to be listed in the libraries tab in Kontakt for convenient access.

Evolution Strawberry is NKS-ready. The integration with the Native Kontrol Standard presents many benefits, both when using the library in the Komplete Kontrol software as well as in conjunction with Komplete Kontrol hardware, such as the Komplete Kontrol S-Series keyboards and Maschine.

This product requires a total of 4.05 GB of free disk space in order to download and install the sample library. The total size of the download is 2.02 GB, and after installed the library occupies 2.02 GB.

The guitars include a case, picks and an instruction sheet. Additional guitar instruction books are available at the Polley Music Library, second floor, Bennett Martin Public Library, 136 S. 14th Street.
