About me
I'm currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the National Research Council Canada working in the quantum technologies group in my hometown of Ottawa. Previously I spent two years as a postdoc at Imperial College London in the photonic quantum information group.
My research explores the use of quantum light for sensing and information processing applications. I am passionate about the physics of light and excited by the potential of quantum technologies. I have eight years of experience working on projects involving single photon sources, cryogenic detectors, integrated photonic circuits, fiber components, and lasers.

Hobbies
Sports
I am an avid rock climber. I keep a log of my ascents here. I also enjoy squash and soccer. I am a proponent of commuting by bike.
Music
I play the electric and upright bass. I especially enjoy the interactions when playing with others. I am often inspired by the music that my brother plays.
Bread making
I love bread. Like many others, I started making sourdough bread during the COVID pandemic. Perhaps one day I will tackle other baked goods like the fabled croissant.
