Guillaume Schwegler
I am a fifth-year PhD student in Economics at the University of Lausanne, where I am supervised by Aurélien Eyquem. My research explores the interaction between fiscal and monetary policy, with a focus on inequality, fiscal sustainability, and climate change. I work primarily with Heterogeneous Agent New Keynesian (HANK) models. In Winter 2025, I visited Stanford University as an academic visitor under the supervision of Adrien Auclert, and I spent Summer 2025 at the Bank of England for a research visit. Before starting my PhD, I worked at the Swiss National Bank.
