Guillaume Blanc (math),

Postdoc
Welcome to my website :-)
I am a postdoc at EPFL, in the group of Juhan Aru. Previously, I was a PhD student at Université Paris-Saclay, under the supervision of Nicolas Curien and Arvind Singh. I defended my thesis in September 2024.
My research area, within Probability, is random geometry. In particular, I study random metrics which are built out of Poisson processes of "roads", and more generally, I look at geometric properties of random constructions, such as in the Poissonian colouring model, the random burning model, and more recently random height functions.
Below are some simulations of the random burning models I studied recently.
