1. Who is responsible

2. Short version

The app needs no account, no sign-in and no email address. Your learning progress —

answered questions, exam results, review intervals, exam date and settings — stays on your

device. We do not upload it and we cannot see it.

What does leave the device: pseudonymous usage statistics, a configuration fetch, and, if

you buy, the purchase handled by the app store. There are no ads, no advertising tracking

and no sale of data.

3. Data that stays on your device

- Answered questions, correct and incorrect answers, self-assessments

- Exam attempts, scores and results

- Review intervals (Leitner boxes), streaks and daily goal

- Exam date, reminder time, chosen language

- The downloaded learning content

This lives in a local database and in local app preferences. It is deleted when you

uninstall the app or clear its data in system settings. A device backup may include it,

under Apple's or Google's terms.

4. Usage statistics (Firebase Analytics)

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand which parts of the app are used and where

learners stop. Pseudonymous events are recorded, for example:

- App open, onboarding completed or skipped

- Viewing a theory section, answering a question

- Starting, abandoning and completing an exam simulation

- Showing the purchase page, and a purchase started, completed, cancelled or failed

- Readiness state changes and streak milestones

- Reminders sent and opened, and the result of the notification permission request

The following properties are also set: whether the full version is present, current

readiness state, number of completed exams, whether an exam date is set, whether reminders

are on, and the content version.

Firebase processes technical details such as a randomly generated instance ID, device type,

operating system version, language and approximate country. Your name, your email address

and the content of your answers are not transmitted.

5. Configuration (Firebase Remote Config)

On start the app fetches a configuration file that lets us adjust how much content is free

and similar settings without shipping an update. An installation ID is sent to Google for

this. If the fetch fails, the app uses the defaults built into it.

6. Purchase and unlocking (RevenueCat)

If you buy the full version, Apple or Google handle the payment. We receive no payment

data, no card number and no billing address.

To check whether an unlock is present we use RevenueCat. A randomly generated anonymous

user ID and the store receipt are processed for this. That ID is not linked to any name or

store account visible to us.

7. Translation feature

The app has a Translate action. When you tap it, the selected text — a question, an answer

option or a theory section — is opened in Google Translate. That text therefore leaves the

app and is processed by Google under its own privacy terms. The feature only runs when you

trigger it, and it is disabled during a running exam simulation.

8. Notifications

If you switch on the daily reminder, the app schedules a local notification on your device.

There is no push server and nothing is sent to us. On Android we ask for the permission only

after explaining what it is for. You can withdraw notification permission at any time in

system settings.

9. Legal bases

- Providing the app and handling the purchase: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract)

- Usage statistics and configuration: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a working

 and improving app)

- Notifications: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), which you may withdraw

10. Retention

Local data stays until you delete it or uninstall the app. Event data in Firebase Analytics

is deleted automatically after the retention period configured in the Firebase project.

Purchase receipts are kept as long as needed to provide what was bought and to meet

statutory record-keeping obligations.

11. Transfers outside the EU

Google and RevenueCat also process data in the United States. Transfers are based on the

European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data

Privacy Framework.

12. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data

portability and objection. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any

time with effect for the future. Contact us at the address above.

Because we keep no accounts, we cannot identify you and cannot delete local data for you.

You delete that data yourself by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in system

settings.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

13. Children

The app is aimed at adults preparing for a professional examination. We do not knowingly

collect data from children.

14. Changes

We update this policy when the app or the services it uses change. The current version is

always available at this address.
