Use of Sauna: The sauna is to be used at your own discretion. Neither Gudvangen Fjordtell nor Aurland kommune will be liable for any mistakes, deficiencies, or resultant consequences.
Swimming in the Fjord: Swimming is entirely at your own risk. A safety ladder is available on the left side of the dock.
Hygiene: Please use the towel provided for hygienic purposes.
Footwear: No shoes or flip flops are permitted inside the sauna. Please leave them in the changing room.
Damage Liability: You will be financially responsible for any damage caused to the sauna or the sauna oven. Only fresh water is to be used on the sauna oven. You can fill the water bucket from the tank by the gate.
Safety Distance: Do not place any buckets, cloths, towels, or other items within one meter of the sauna oven.
Children's Access: Children under 18 must be supervised by an adult while in the sauna.
Hydration and Safety: Drink water before, during, and after your sauna session. Exit the sauna immediately if you feel uncomfortable, dizzy, or sleepy.
Safety Precautions: Be cautious inside the sauna and in the surrounding outdoor areas to avoid falls, especially in low visibility or on slippery surfaces.
Time Management: Your sauna session includes time in the changing room. Be aware that new guests may arrive when your time is up.
Alcohol and Drinks: Only non-breakable containers are allowed inside the sauna. You may bring a maximum of two units of alcohol per person (below 20% alcohol content). The Sauna Satff has the authority to remove anyone visibly under the influence of alcohol.
Snacks: Light snacks may be enjoyed in the changing room.
Toilets: are available inside Gudvangen Fjordtell.
Fire Safety: In case of fire, use the fire extinguisher located in the changing room.
Cleanliness: Please leave the sauna clean and tidy and ensure the glass door is closed when you leave.
