Overview. Guardient is a browser extension that provides a privacy and security dashboard. This Privacy Policy explains what data Guardient collects, why it collects that data, how we use it, and how you can control or delete your data.
Non-personal technical data: extension version, basic telemetry (optional), error logs.
Browser data (only when you grant permission): cookies, tabs, browsing data, history — only used to provide privacy monitoring features and local analysis.
We use the data to:
Power the privacy dashboard and show you which sites have tracking resources.
Manage your saved settings and local reports (stored locally in your browser storage).
Provide troubleshooting logs if you choose to send them.
By default, Guardient stores sensitive information locally in the browser. We do not share or sell your personal data to third parties. If any cloud feature exists, it will be explicitly opt-in and documented.
Disable or remove the extension at any time.
Revoke permissions via browser extension settings.
Request deletion of any account-level data by contacting support (no account-level cloud data by default).
