Privacy Policy for GTU Exam Assistant Last Updated: 27/09/2026
1. Introduction Welcome to the GTU Exam Assistant. This app is built to help university students access syllabus data, download past papers, and utilize AI for educational summaries. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This app operates on a strict "no subscription and no hidden charges" model.
2. Data Collection and Storage We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, store, or sell any personally identifiable information (PII).
Local Storage: Any exam preferences, search history, and downloaded PDF papers are saved locally on your device using local caching and your device's Downloads folder. We do not have access to these files.
Network Requests: The app connects directly to the official public university servers to fetch publicly available syllabus and exam paper PDFs.
3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features This app utilizes Google's generative AI (Gemini) to provide summaries, solve academic questions, and analyze exam trends.
When you use the AI Assistant tab, the specific exam papers you select and the text prompts you type are sent securely to Google's API to generate a response.
We do not record or monitor your chat logs. Your chat history is stored locally on your device and is wiped when you clear your cache.
4. Third-Party Services & Advertising This app uses Google AdMob to display banner advertisements. While we do not actively share your personal data, the Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects certain device information, IP addresses, and mobile advertising IDs to serve ads and analyze traffic. For more information on how Google collects and uses your data, please review Google’s Privacy & Terms (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads).
5. Contact Us & In-App Forms When you use our in-app contact forms (such as "Report a Bug" or "Request Missing Paper"), the information you voluntarily provide (including your optional email address and message) is transmitted securely via Web3Forms API directly to our support inbox. We only use this information to address your specific request. If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy, please contact us at: cccsoni222@gmail.com
