This Privacy Policy describes how Gött Tempo ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your data is handled securely and transparently.

A. Location Data (GPS)
To provide the core functionality of the App—measuring your real-time speed to allow you to race against galactic challengers—the App requires access to your device's location services (GPS).
How we use it: We use your GPS data to calculate your current speed (km/h) and the distance traveled during a race.
Foreground access: Location data is accessed only while the App is open and in use (foreground).
No tracking/storage: We do not store your location history on our servers, nor do we track your position when the App is closed.
Payment and Subscription Information
The App offers a premium subscription called "Gött Tempo Pro" through the Google Play Billing System.
Transaction handling: All financial transactions are handled exclusively by Google Play. We do not collect or store your credit card numbers, bank details, or billing address.
Subscription status: We receive a digital token from Google Play to verify if you have an active subscription to unlock premium features.
C. Local Data Storage
The App stores certain data locally on your device (using SharedPreferences) to enhance your experience:
Trial start date (to manage the 5-day free period).
High scores and race results.
Unlocked achievements and medals.
Cache of your subscription status for offline access. This data remains on your device and is not uploaded to any external servers.
2. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We value your privacy. Gött Tempo does not share, sell, or rent your personal data to third parties.
No Analytics: We do not use Google Analytics or other tracking suites.
No Ads: The App does not contain third-party advertisements that track user behavior.
3. Children’s Privacy
Gött Tempo is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children. Since GPS data is processed locally for speed calculation and no account creation is required, the App is designed with safety in mind.
4. Data Security
We implement standard security measures to protect the integrity of the App. Since we do not maintain a backend database for user profiles, the risk of data breaches involving your personal information is minimal.
5. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your data. Since we do not store personal data on servers, you can exercise your "right to be forgotten" simply by:
Clearing the App’s cache/data in your Android settings.
Uninstalling the App. This will permanently delete all local high scores and achievement data.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the version number within the App.
