PRIVACY POLICY

Guess the Ballplayer (the "App") is operated by Leadoff Labs ("we," "us"). This policy explains what data the App
collects, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and a unique account
identifier provided by that service. If you play without signing in, the App assigns an anonymous identifier so your
in-progress game can be saved.
Profile information. If you create a profile, you choose a public username that is displayed on leaderboards.
Gameplay data. We store your puzzle results (date, whether you solved it, number of guesses used, time taken) so
leaderboards and personal statistics work.
Purchase information. If you purchase the Pro upgrade, our payment processor (RevenueCat) records that the purchase
occurred and links it to your account identifier. We never receive your payment card or billing details.
Advertising identifier. If you have not purchased Pro, the App displays ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may access
your device's advertising identifier and use it to serve relevant ads, as described in Google's privacy policy.
Local device storage. The App stores small amounts of data on your device using AsyncStorage: your theme preference,
onboarding status, the current day's puzzle, your sign-in session, and ad-frequency timestamps. This data never leaves
your device.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera input, health or fitness data, or any other
sensitive personal information.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information above only to operate the App: to authenticate you, save and display your scores, run
leaderboards, deliver and frequency-cap ads (for free users), and process purchases (for Pro users).
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting
- Google AdMob — advertising (free users only)
- RevenueCat — in-app purchase processing
- Google Sign-In and Apple Sign-In — authentication providers
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the third-party services listed above, and only the
data each service needs to function.
6. Data Retention
Account and gameplay data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at
any time by emailing us (see contact below).
7. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children
under 13.
8. Your Choices
- Sign out at any time from the profile screen.
- Opt out of personalized ads via your device's advertising settings (Google: Settings → Google → Ads; Apple: Settings
→ Privacy → Apple Advertising).
- Delete your account and associated data by emailing the address below.
9. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens and purchase receipts are stored using your device's secure
storage.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect changes.
