Radio Los Santos (106.1) is a radio station featured in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto V. In Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, this station plays West Coast hip hop from the late 1980s and early 1990s - primarily the "gangsta rap" subgenre. The station, evidently, broadcasts from Los Santos. This station was released in a joint album with Playback FM as part of the 8-Disc soundtrack. In Grand Theft Auto V, it plays modern hip-hop and is hosted by real-life radio host Big Boy (a.k.a. Kurt Alexander) - host of Big Boy's Neighborhood on Los Angeles' radio station Power 106, and voice of the character Big Bear in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is an open-world, action-adventure video game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. First released on 16 October 2004 for the PlayStation 2, San Andreas has an in-game radio that can tune in to eleven stations playing more than 150 tracks of licensed music, as well as a talk radio station. The songs featured on the radio stations originated in or before the early 1990s, the period in which the game is set.

The game's music has been released on two official soundtracks: Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Official Soundtrack, released in November 2004, consists of selections from the in-game radio; and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Official Soundtrack Box Set, released in December 2004, consists of eight volumes comprising highlights from the game's radio stations. Critical reception to the soundtracks was positive, as reviewers felt that the selected tracks connected appropriately with the gameplay and period.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Official Soundtrack features selected tracks from the in-game radio stations. It was released as a three-disc album on November 23, 2004, by Interscope Records. The first two discs featured the songs, while the third disc is a DVD featuring The Introduction, a short machinima video depicting events before the game.[3]

GTA 5 offers its players groovy songs that they can listen to while driving around in their car. With over 500 songs to choose from, there are 19 radio stations in GTA 5 that the players can tune in to.

A new radio station is coming to Los Santos, the fictionalized Los Angeles analog that serves as the setting for Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online. Called iFruit Radio, the new station features a tracklist curated by rapper Danny Brown, who is also the host for the in-game station.

When it launches with the latest GTA DLC, "The Diamond Casino Heist," iFruit Radio will feature 27 tracks, including songs from DaBaby, Skepta, Travis Scott and Freddie Gibbs. Here's the complete tracklist coming to GTA V and GTA Online:

The new iFruit Radio station will be the 21st station on the radio dial in Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online when it's released as part of "The Diamond Casino Heist" update. The new radio station hosted by Danny Brown should be the perfect soundtrack to the most complex GTA heist yet.

This radio station is hosted by a female host who is voiced by Donna Frank. This radio station was exclusive to GTA Online at first but was later added to GTA V story mode in the Arena War update on 11th December, 2018. This radio station plays House and Techno music. It plays songs from the DJs setlist that are featured in the GTA Online After Hours update. The songs from these setlists play in sequence in GTA story mode.

Pre-Millennium Radio is an unequivocal celebration of the A and B-sides of 90s rock, featuring a lengthy but uncompromising 76-song tracklist, to ensure you'll always find something new to listen to once you tune in. It's a station that is sure to not grow old anytime soon.

It's Badger Goodger! He voices PMR's unnamed, financially insecure, slightly nihilistic yet reasonably sound DJ host. He has over 250 unique lines of dialogue, written by both me and Badger. We made sure the dialogue melded well with the absurdist and satirical nature of GTA V's writing, whilst also still being grounded enough to sound believable. To an extent, that is. We also made sure all of the dialogue was lore-friendly. Locations of bands are referred to by their in-universe counterparts, and a small handful of references have also been made to several in-universe products to further help sell the idea of this being an actual radio station broadcasting to the state of San Andreas.

Each song has one to three uniquely track-specific intro lines (135 introductory lines in total), with 39 unspecific song intros and outros, the DJ goes on lengthy tangents about a variety of topics; the novelty (and dangers) of VHS, shoe bombers, climate denialism, the current state of music, the increasing antiquity of radio, the smoke and mirrors of tourism marketing, and far more. The host has morning, afternoon, evening, and night comments, and informs listeners of incoming ad and news breaks. The real deal! The station features its own bumpers as well, which were quite fun to make.

By the way, I want to publish this together with -v-airwaves on Nexus Mods, but only if the Santos Surf radio station is restored, I know that I can probably create it myself, but it will take me time to figure it out, and also how do I add songs to TrackID? Because their hash does not match in OpenIV, for example, the word A$AP ROCKY has a hash of 0x3BBD2AC9 in TrackID, but if I use the hash generator that is present in OpenIV, then the hash will not match, that is, if you type A$AP ROCKY in OpenIV, then the hash will be 0xADD6262E, or does it not matter?

- hud.gfx updated to the latest version

- Fixed a typo within the TrackID

- Fixed a syntax issue that resulted in a small number of songs not showing up on the radio wheel before tuning in

- Lowered the audio to Leave Them All Behind

- Compatibility with the latest version of Airwaves

Edit: Ok so.. I don't know what kind of funky sh*t Rockstar pulled, but every time I try and edit the Mercenaries hud.gfx, that happens. I hadn't catched onto it before as I had online radio stations disabled when I initially tested. I've modified the hud.gfx twice using the same method I've always used and it still happens. I dunno. I guess just use old hud.gfx for now till I find a solution

Outstanding work. I'm creating fan/custom/alternate radio mixes myself, and I can barely imagine how much time you've spent to put everything together and actually make it work organically in the game. Voiceovers are spot on, kudos to BG.

Unfortunately, I don't have the modding skills to make a mod out of all this, so what I do is just downloading the tracks and simply put 'em in my Self Radio folder (not the best solution but I guess that's better than nothing). For listenings outside of the game, I've made radio mixes (which blend the tracks together a bit, but no DJ banters).

I have a clean install (v1.0.2944.0) with just ASILoader/OpenIV.asi and the PMR .oiv (v1.1). I have tried installing to both the game files and the mods folder, and it made no difference, the .oiv package seems to install without issue, but there is no new station in the radio station wheel. I have also increased the order value in setup2.xml with no results.

Today, the tracklists have been announced for the new next-gen edition of Grand Theft Auto V, coming to Xbox One and Playstation 4 tomorrow and PC on January 27. There are a whopping 162 new songs across the game's 17 radio stations. Listen to one of those new songs, Jamie Lidell's "Runaway", above.

The new radio offers a vast array of new songs added to the game for players to get their daily dose of great music to listen to while speeding through the city at high speed. Here are all of the new songs added to the radio station: e24fc04721
