Just ordered my first joystick which is a Logitech extreme 3D pro for Microsoft flight simulator and I just wanted to know is there any drivers or software I need to download for it to work properly.

An inherent problem with Windows is that you can't load two copies of the same driver of different versions.

neither of the 2 wireless drivers will install, getting as far as the install screen and then simply stops and disappears. Currently have no way of connecting the laptop to the internet other than wireless so can't just do a windows update or anything. Anyway, I tried hotspotting through the usb connection from my phone, which didn't work, but somehow did trigger an adapter reset which somehow got the wifi going again, even though i'd already reset all the adapters??? I don't know, probably not a driver problem then.
