GSJS Archive
The Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore Archive contains objects that reflect the history of the largest girl leadership development organization in the United States, serving as a window into the role and agency of girls and women in our country from the early 19th century to the present. The collection spans centuries, genres, and styles, and includes records, writings, media, scrapbooks, decorative arts, camp equipment, furnishings, sculptures, jewelry, international gifts, memorabilia, awards and recognitions, Girl Scout uniforms, badges, and insignia. This archive focuses mainly on the history of the Jersey Shore area.
