Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026
Green Gaming Studio provides "Giraffe Sniper Hunting Game" as an Android launcher and game application. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app can access, how that information is used, and what choices you have.
By using the app, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect or Access
The app is designed to keep launcher data on your device. The current code does not include Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Unity Ads, Google AdMob, or other advertising or analytics SDKs.
Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, the app may access the following information:
1. Launcher and app data
The app reads information needed for launcher features, including installed apps, app labels, icons, shortcuts, widgets, folders, hidden apps, icon packs, workspace layout, and launcher preferences.
This information is used to display and customize your home screen, app drawer, search results, widgets, gestures, icons, themes, and related launcher features.
2. Search queries and web suggestions
If web suggestions are enabled, the app sends the text you type in the launcher search box to the selected suggestion provider so that suggestions can be returned. Built-in providers in the current code include Google, DuckDuckGo, Startpage, and Kagi. If you configure a custom suggestion provider, queries may be sent to the custom URL you provide.
When you open a web search result, the query is sent to the selected search provider or browser through the search URL.
Startpage suggestion requests include partner parameters identifying Gshunting.
3. Recent search history
If recent search suggestions are enabled, the app stores recent launcher search queries locally on your device through Android's search suggestions provider. You can disable this feature in settings.
4. Contacts
If contact search is enabled and you grant Contacts permission, the app can search your contacts locally by name and display matching contact names, phone numbers, contact IDs, account metadata, and contact photos in launcher search results.
Contact data is used only to provide on-device search results and to open the selected contact in the Android contacts app.
5. Files, photos, videos, audio, and wallpaper
If file or media search is enabled and you grant the relevant storage or media permissions, the app can query Android MediaStore for matching files. Results may include file names, paths, MIME types, sizes, modification dates, and media IDs.
This information is used to show local file, photo, video, audio, folder, and wallpaper-related features. The app opens selected files through Android intents and grants temporary read access only for that action.
6. Notifications
If you enable notification dots and grant notification listener access, the app can read notification metadata needed to show notification dots and counts, such as notification keys, counts, shortcut IDs, package association, and grouping state.
Notification data is used locally to display launcher notification dots.
7. App usage access
The app may request package usage access for recent app suggestions and related launcher behavior. If granted, this information is used locally to improve launcher suggestions.
8. Device, system, and permission state
The app may read system settings and device state needed for launcher behavior, including default launcher status, wallpaper/theme information, device profile, grid configuration, status bar options, boot completion, and feature availability.
The app declares the Advertising ID permission in the manifest, but the current code does not collect or transmit the Advertising ID for analytics or advertising.
How We Use Information
We use information accessed by the app to:
- provide home screen, app drawer, widget, folder, shortcut, icon, theme, gesture, search, and game features;
- save your launcher settings and layout;
- show local search results for apps, contacts, files, settings, web suggestions, and recent searches;
- open actions that you explicitly choose, such as calling a contact, opening a file, starting a web search, opening a market page, or launching another app;
- maintain compatibility with Android launcher, widget, notification, recents, and backup features;
- detect and handle local technical issues.
Local Storage and Backup
The app stores launcher layout, preferences, search history when enabled, setup state, icon/customization data, and related launcher databases locally on your device.
Android backup and restore may back up supported launcher data according to your device and Google account backup settings. Green Gaming Studio does not operate a separate server for this backup data.
Third-Party Services
The app can interact with third-party services only when a feature requires it or when you choose to open an external app or website. These services may receive information under their own privacy policies.
Examples include:
- web suggestion and search providers, such as Google, DuckDuckGo, Startpage, Kagi, or a custom provider you configure;
- browsers, app stores, search apps, voice assistants, Google Lens, Google services, Smartspace providers, and feed providers that you choose to use;
- Android system services, such as contacts, notifications, widgets, wallpaper, MediaStore, package manager, and backup.
Data Sharing
Green Gaming Studio does not sell your personal data.
We do not share your local launcher data with third parties except when:
- you choose an action that sends data to another app or service, such as a web search, file open action, contact action, app market link, or external provider;
- Android system services process data as part of permissions, backup, widgets, notifications, or launcher integration;
- disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Permissions
The app may request or declare permissions needed for launcher and optional features, including Internet, contacts, storage/media, notification access, usage access, wallpaper, widgets, phone call shortcuts, vibration, boot completion, package deletion requests, and package/app queries.
You can grant, deny, or revoke permissions in Android system settings. Some features may not work if the related permission is denied.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can address the issue.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect data stored by the app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. Updates will be posted in this document or at the privacy policy location linked from the app.
