The Problems

Vertical pillar: the GRY ceiling is soft for the pillar to fix, also it's hard to reach items on the rear seat/floor.
Long bar across the rear windows: the front view is blocked by the front seats.
Long bar above with a front-extending arm: creates extra moment under vibration.
Mount attached to the seat back: unstable on soft surfaces.
Pillow mount on the front side: occupies the passenger seat.

Material

Pillow brackets are available in two material options:

FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) 3D printed using ASA
SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) 3D printed using PA Nylon: better finish & stronger structure

Both materials are well-suited for use in car interiors.

Please send your payment using the PayPal Button below. The price is for SLS brackets (nylon) and includes the shipping cost. To reduce the options in the PayPal payment button I didn't add prices for the FDM brackets. I'll refund you USD 30 from PayPal if you choose the FDM brackets (ASA).

Packages are shipped from Taiwan. For urban and most suburban areas in most counties the shipping costs are the same. I'll email you if your shipping address is in a remote area, defined by DHL, where shipping cost is higher.

Installation

Remove the headrest from the passenger chair. Place the gaps of the brackets at the inner sides, and slide the brackets to the steel legs.

Don't fasten the bolts at this step.

Slide the carbon fiber tube into the brackets.

Gently fasten all 4 bolts but don't tighten them too much. Once the components don't rotate, the torque is enough.

(Gen2 only) The gen2 headrest won't lock up at the 1st click due to the locations of the dents at the right leg are different from those on the gen1 headrest.

Paste a piece of tape at the inner side of the left leg to increase the friction while the headrest is slid into the chair.
