Grow Trail ("we", "our", "the app") is a habit and routine tracking app that helps users build consistency by adding, completing, and deleting tasks and habits. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
By using Grow Trail, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Information you enter in the app:
Grow Trail stores the tasks, habits, and routines that you create, along with their completion status and progress (such as streaks and tick marks). This information is entered by you and is used only to provide the app's features.
Habit icons (images you choose):
When you add or edit a habit, you can optionally upload or select an image to use as that habit's icon. The image is selected by you from your device and is used only to display the icon next to your habit inside the app. We do not view, copy, or collect your other photos or files.
Information we do not collect:
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, or any other personal information. The app does not require you to create an account.
Your tasks, habits, and the icons you choose for them are stored locally on your device. We do not upload this data to our servers, and we do not have access to it. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, your information and habit icons will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by us.
The data you enter is used only to:
Display and manage your tasks and habits
Track your completion progress and consistency
Show your streaks and routine statistics
Display the icon you selected for each habit
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your information, including your habit icons, with any third party.
To let you choose a habit icon, Grow Trail may ask for permission to access your photos or gallery. This permission is used only when you choose to add an icon, and only the image you select is accessed. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings. The app will continue to work normally without it, and your habits will simply be shown without a custom icon.
If you enable reminders, the app may also ask for notification permission, which is used only to send local reminders about your habits.
Grow Trail does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. (If you add any such services in the future, this policy will be updated.)
If you choose to enable reminders, the app sends local notifications from your device. These notifications are generated on your device and no data is sent to us.
Because your data stays on your device, its security depends on your device's own protections. We recommend using a screen lock and keeping your device updated.
You are in full control of your data. You can edit or delete any task or habit inside the app at any time, change or remove any habit's icon whenever you like, and delete all data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it.
Grow Trail does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected, the app is safe for general audiences.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
