GroundBreaker is designed with your privacy as a priority. The application works offline-first and does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data or usage analytics beyond the limited services described below.
No Personal Information: We do not require you to provide any personal information like your name, email address, or location to use the app. Local Storage Only: All data you enter, including your workout history, goals, and settings, is stored exclusively on your device in the application's private directory. This data is not accessible to the developer or any third parties.
No Internet Connection Required: The core functionality of the app does not require an internet connection. An internet connection is only used if you voluntarily choose to use the "Send Feedback" feature, which opens your device's default email client.
GroundBreaker uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Cloud Firestore only to deliver optional workout reminders:
When you enable reminders, the app registers an anonymous FCM token and your reminder schedule (days, time, timezone). These entries are stored securely in Firestore so that reminders can be delivered even if the app is not running.
When you disable reminders, the stored reminder entry is deleted. Uninstalling the app invalidates the token, and reminder delivery stops.
No personal identifiers (name, email, IP address, etc.) are attached to these records. Tokens can be revoked at any time by disabling reminders.
Firebase services are provided by Google LLC and operate under the Google Firebase Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Outside this reminder feature, the app does not upload your workout data or settings to any server.
GroundBreaker requests the following Android permissions to support core functionality:
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — shown once at first launch to display workout reminders and in-app notifications.
VIBRATE and WAKE_LOCK — to provide sensory feedback and ensure notification delivery.
No location, contacts, camera, microphone, or storage access is requested for normal operation.
If you choose to use the "Send Feedback" feature, the app will prepare an email using your device's default email client. The information you have entered into the feedback form (name, email, and message), along with your app version and platform, will be pre-filled in the email draft. This email is not sent automatically. You have the full control to review, edit, and send the email yourself. We only receive the information you choose to send.
The application provides functionality to export and import your data. This process is entirely under your control. The exported file is saved to a location you choose on your device. We do not have access to this file unless you choose to share it with us or others.
We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The application is intended for a general audience.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the application. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
