If you want a complete, rugged wireless audio system built for long workouts and big heads, choose Groove Earbuds; if you need a specific upgrade to fix the fit of your existing JBL earbuds, choose Wiki VALLEY Replacement Earbuds Tips. These two products serve completely different purposes in the audio world, and confusing them would be a costly mistake for anyone shopping for gear that actually fits their head shape. I have seen too many people buy replacement tips when they needed a whole new set of headphones, or vice versa, because they didn't understand the fundamental difference between a primary device and an accessory.
• Groove Earbuds: Offers a full wireless listening experience with 14 hours of battery life and IPX7 waterproofing, but requires purchasing the entire unit rather than just fixing a small part.
• Wiki VALLEY Replacement Earbuds Tips: Provides a perfect seal for specific JBL models with three size options to solve fit issues, but cannot function as standalone audio devices without the original earbuds.
• Who is this for?: Choose Groove if you are looking for a sweat-resistant kids headset for big head or a best crystal clear calls wireless headset for big head that you can wear all day. Choose Wiki VALLEY only if you already own compatible JBL earbuds and find them slipping out of your ears during movement.
The Groove Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds are engineered for people who need durability and endurance above all else. If you have a larger head or simply struggle with earbuds that feel tight or fall out, these units address those concerns through a robust over-ear hook design. The product information confirms an enclosure material of plastic and silicone with an over-ear placement, which is a critical distinction from standard in-ear buds. This hook style wraps around the ear, providing a mechanical anchor that prevents the device from sliding out, making it one of the more reliable true wireless earbuds for big head users who need stability during physical activity.
Whether you are working a long shift, running a marathon, or just commuting, the ability to go a full day without hunting for a charging case is a massive advantage. The inclusion of a charging case ensures that even after those 13 hours, you are not left in silence.
For those concerned about the elements, the IPX7 waterproof rating is a standout feature. This level of protection means the earbuds can withstand heavy rain, intense sweat, or accidental splashes without failing. It makes them ideal for outdoor adventures or high-intensity workouts where moisture is inevitable. Combined with Bluetooth 5.3 technology and a 15-meter range, you get a stable connection that doesn't drop when you move away from your phone slightly. The dynamic driver type and frequency range of 20Hz to 20,000Hz suggest a broad audio spectrum capable of delivering high-fidelity sound, while the active noise cancellation helps isolate you from background chatter. This is the choice for someone who wants a complete, self-contained solution that won't quit on them.

The Wiki VALley Replacement Earbuds Tips are a specialized accessory designed exclusively for owners of specific JBL models, namely the Tune 230NC TWS and the Live Pro+. They are not a standalone product; they do not produce sound on their own and require the presence of the original JBL earbuds to function. Their sole purpose is to improve the fit and comfort of those specific devices by offering a better seal in the ear canal. If you have purchased JBL earbuds that come with standard tips that feel loose or cause pain, these silicone replacements offer a targeted solution.
The package includes three pairs of premium silicone ear tips in Small, Medium, and Large sizes. This variety is essential for users who cannot find a comfortable fit with the default tips provided by the manufacturer. The ergonomic design creates a reliable seal, which the manufacturer claims enhances bass response and stability during movement. For someone with a unique ear canal shape, finding the right size can make the difference between hearing deep, rich bass and feeling like the audio is muffled or leaking out. The material quality is highlighted as high-grade silicone, which is chosen for its durability and comfort during extended wear.
One of the most practical features of these tips is their case-friendly design. Many third-party ear tips are too bulky or shaped incorrectly, causing the charging case lid to not close properly or interfering with the charging contacts. The Wiki VALLEY tips are engineered specifically to fit perfectly inside the charging case without any obstruction. This ensures that your earbuds remain protected and charged every time you put them away. However, it is crucial to note that this product is useless unless you own the exact compatible JBL models listed in the specifications. If your JBL earbuds are a different model, these tips will not attach, rendering the purchase ineffective.
• Best for battery life → Groove Earbuds, which boast 14 hours of total playtime compared to the limited battery of the original JBL earbuds they might replace.
• Best for sweat resistance → Groove Earbuds, featuring a certified IPX7 waterproof rating suitable for heavy rain and intense sweating.
• Best for big head comfort → Groove Earbuds, thanks to the over-ear hook design that secures the device mechanically rather than relying solely on friction in the ear canal.
• Best for JBL Tune 230NC owners → Wiki VALLEY Replacement Earbuds Tips, as they are the only option here specifically designed to fit this hardware.
• Best for value → Depends entirely on what you own; Groove is a new investment for a full system, while Wiki VALLEY is a low-cost fix for an existing pair.
• Best for secure fit during movement → Both excel here but differently; Groove uses hooks, while Wiki VALLEY uses ergonomic sealing for JBL buds.
• Best for versatility → Groove Earbuds, as they work with any Bluetooth device, whereas Wiki VALLEY is locked to specific JBL frequencies and shapes.
• Best for call clarity → Groove Earbuds, which include active noise cancellation and dedicated microphone technology for seamless calls.
In my opinion, if you are searching for a reliable audio solution for a large head or intense physical activity, the Groove Earbuds are the clear winner. The combination of the over-ear hook design, IPX7 waterproofing, and exceptional battery life creates a product that feels built for real-world challenges. It is the kind of gear that lets you forget you are wearing headphones, whether you are running in the rain or taking a long conference call. On the other hand, if you already have JBL Tune 230NC or Live Pro+ earbuds and they just don't stay in your ears, then the Wiki VALLEY Replacement Earbuds Tips are a smart, cost-effective way to fix that specific annoyance. However, if you are starting from scratch, there is no comparison; the Groove Earbuds provide the complete package, while the Wiki VALLEY tips are merely a supplement to an existing device. For a big head, the structural security of the Groove hooks is simply superior to trying to force a seal with smaller tips.
Yes, the Groove Earbuds feature an over-ear hook design specifically intended to secure the device firmly, making them excellent for users with larger head sizes who struggle with standard in-ear styles.
No, these tips are strictly compatible with JBL Tune 230NC TWS and Live Pro+ models; using them on other brands or JBL models will result in a poor fit or inability to attach.
The Groove Earbuds carry an IPX7 waterproof rating, meaning they are designed to withstand water immersion and heavy sweat, making them safe for wet conditions.
