At our GRO, learning is at the heart of everything we do. Our core academics focus on the foundations of Reading, Writing, and Math, ensuring each child builds the strong skills they need to thrive. In addition, we offer a variety of Enrichment Courses—such as science, social studies, and other special interest subjects—that families can choose to enhance their child’s educational journey.
Unlike traditional programs, we don’t purchase boxed curricula you can already access at home—that would be redundant! Instead, our experienced curriculum writer thoughtfully designs lessons and courses around your child’s unique needs, learning style, and interests. With small class sizes (10 students or fewer), we’re able to personalize instruction, ensuring every child receives meaningful, individualized support.
All of our learning experiences are rooted in the Arkansas State Standards, so families can feel confident their child is meeting academic expectations—but the way we teach is anything but standard. For example, if the Arkansas State Standard requires students to identify the main idea and supporting details in a text, we might personalize this by choosing reading materials that align with your child’s interests. A student who loves sports might read a short article about their favorite athlete, while a student passionate about space might explore a nonfiction passage about astronauts. Another child who enjoys storytelling could practice the same skill by identifying the main idea in a folktale or fable. This approach allows every learner to meet the same academic goals—but in a way that feels relevant, meaningful, and exciting to them.
