kingsley ethan burke was born to ethan burke and emily rowle on feburary 20th, 1924. he is the youngest and only boy of the three burke siblings; his oldest sister being jessamine, who is five years older than him; and his other older sister being claudia, who is only a year older than him.
kingsley got his hogwarts letter at eleven and was sorted into ravenclaw upon his arrival. both of his sisters were also ravenclaws, though both of their parents were slytherins. house purity wasn't such a big deal in their household, despite being purebloods of the sacred twenty-eight variety. nothing major happened in kingsley's hogwarts years.
when he graduated, he joined the auror program. kingsley was a master dueler and was one of the best in his department until he was sent on a mission that ended badly for everyone involved. his group was tasked with locating and capturing a werwolf who was terrorizing muggles around wales. it was terribly close to a full moon, and as such, the werewolf was somewhat stronger than he likely would have been at any other time of the month, and ended up killing most of the group of aurors. before they managed to subdue them, kingsley and another auror ended up getting bitten by the werewolf.Β
subsequently, he himself became a werewolf and several days later found that he was able to transform. he was fired from his job as an auror.
