born on january first of 1970 to kadri and aslan kaya, eleven years after the birth of her older brother ekram, ecrin-azra is the middle child and only girl born to the turkish pureblooded kaya family. she spent much her early life surrounded by various family members such as her paternal grandparents and various aunts, uncles, and cousins. around three years after she was born, the family welcomed her younger brother desrin to the world β Β her older brother, who was fourteen at the time, didn't spend much time around his younger siblings, but ecrin-azra and desrin spent nearly all of thier time together growing up. when she was around seven, her mother and grandmother began teaching her basic math and reading and such, as well as very early spells normally taught so that children can practice their magic.
