– set throughout season one and into season two; Hunter serves under Emperor Belos as the current Golden Guard, eventually going on to run the Emperor’s Coven after Lilith defects. He works to shape the Isles according to Belos’ will, no matter what the cost may be.

– set during 2x6 until 2x15; Hunter’s skewed views on the dangers of wild magic are turned upside down when he begins a bond with his own palisman. His growing curiosity and desire for friendship begins to contradict his mission to his coven, but when push comes to shove, he is loyal to his emperor.

– set during 2x16 until 2x22; truths about Hunter’s origins are revealed, and he is not okay. Left with no choice, he leaves the Emperor’s Coven and finds himself on the run, struggling to hide and come to terms with who and what he truly is. 

– set during 3x01, while Hunter and the others are stuck in the human realm; as the months go by, as much as Hunter wants to go back, he can’t deny the fact that he’s been happy to live normally for the first time in his life. Despite all the uncertainty, he likes the person he sees in the mirror.

– set during 3x02 and 3x03; Hunter finds himself having to fight back against Belos, as he and the others finally return to the Boiling Isles to save it from the Collector. He's angry, still grieving the loss of Flapjack, but he finds solace in his friends.

– set post-3x03; the Boiling Isles has been saved, and Hunter is embracing his new freedoms. He makes sure to study wild magic, and learn how to carve palisman, and attend Hexside, and play flyer derby with his friends...

– set post-finale; four years have passed. Hunter has become a palisman carver with the Clawthornes near the Bat Queen's forest. He takes part-time classes at the University of Wild Magic, and maintains his friendships with everyone.

– an AU where Hunter attends Hexside School beginning at 1x13. he still works part-time as the Golden Guard and attempts to keep his identity a secret, all while reporting his findings back to the coven, and getting dragged into adventures with other students.
