About me

I am a Ph.D. student in Economics, at the University of Verona - Department of Economics. I plan to be in the JM in 2024.  My Supervisor is Prof. Paolo Pertile.

I visited Prof. Pierre Dubois at the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) and Prof. Kurt Brekke at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen (Norway).

My main field of study is at the intersection between Health Economics and Industrial Organization. My scientific interests include pharmaceutical regulation, external reference pricing and innovation.

Finally, I am an external affiliate to the Health, Econometrics and Data Group (HEDG),  University of York, to the UK Health Economists' Study Group (HESG) and member of the Health Economics and Policy Evaluation Group at the University of Verona.

18-19 April 2024: the Department of Economics at the University of Verona is hosting the first edition of the Early Career Workshop in Economics (ECWE). The program can be downloaded from the Workshop website.

6 February 2024: I presented the work "External Reference Pricing with Secret Discount: Does it pay to keep a secret?" at the Brown Bag Seminar series at the University of Verona.

18 September 2023: My second visiting period has started off! I am visiting Prof. Pierre Dubois at TSE in Toulouse until the end of December.

6 July 2023: I presented the work "Spillover of Pharmaceutical Price Regulation: Strategic Response to External Reference Pricing" with S. Gamba and P. Pertile at the VII American-European Health Economists Study Group in Harvard.
