This Privacy Policy explains how Gridly – Photo Puzzle (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application.

Certain default images used in this application are obtained from free, royalty-free image sources, including Unsplash, under their respective licenses. These images have been edited and modified before being used in the app.

Information We Collect and Use

1. Photos

Gridly – Photo Puzzle allows you to select images from your device or take new photos to create puzzles.

• All selected or captured images are stored locally on your device only

• Images are not uploaded, transmitted, or shared with us or any third party

• Images are accessed solely for the purpose of creating and displaying puzzles within the app
  
  

2. Camera

The app may request access to your device’s camera only when you choose to take a photo from within the app.

• Camera access is optional

• The camera is never accessed in the background

• We do not record, store, or transmit camera data
  
  

3. Storage

The app may access device storage in order to:

• Read images selected by the user

• Save puzzle-related images locally on the device

No storage data is transmitted off the device during this process.

4. Internet Permission

The app uses the Internet permission for the following purposes:

• Displaying advertisements via Google AdMob

Gridly – Photo Puzzle does not use the Internet permission to upload, store, or transmit personal user data or images.

5. Advertising and Cookies

Gridly – Photo Puzzle displays advertisements using Google Mobile Ads (AdMob).

• While the app itself does not use WebView for app content, when users tap on an ad, it may open the device’s default web browser to display the ad

• Cookies or similar tracking technologies may be used by the ad network in this case

• The app does not create, access, or store these cookies

• Google manages any data collected through ads according to its policies

The app displays AdMob ads, which may use the device’s Advertising ID for ad delivery and measurement:

6. Device Information

The app collects certain device information for app functionality and ad display:

• Device language/locale → to select app language

• Screen size and orientation → to adjust UI and ad banner sizes

Data Storage and Security

• All user-selected images remain on the user’s device

• We do not operate servers to store user data
